Quentin Tarantino’s film projects never end. Famous director has another movie in plan, Inglorious Bastards, which will be released in 2009. Set in World War II, the story is about a group of soldiers on their way to be executed. Tarantino describes them as „not your normal heroes types that are thrown into a big deal in World War II”. This is another massive plan, after Death Proof, released this year.
American film director, born in Knoxville, Tennessee, rose to fame in the early 90s thanks to his soft spot for details and violent shots. His movies are without exception nonlinear storylines. And so are Reservoir Dogs (1992), Pulp Fiction (1994), Jackie Brown (1997), Kill Bill (Vol. 1 2003, Vol. 2 2004) and Death Proof featured in Grindhouse (2007). He was also acused of plagiarism by persons who saw in Quentin’s success something fishy. For those who contest his gift, Tarantino has always an answer: „I lift ideas from other great films just like every other great filmmaker”.
