Johnny Depp was always considered to be a true talent in the acting business. And I truly agree with this statement if I remember all of his independent screen-plays that left me breathless. Lately he abandoned the so-called independent productions and embraced other projects, more comercial ones.
So are the Pirates of the Caribbean series (2006, 2007) or Sweeney Todd movie (2007) that change a little bit the impresion I had on him (I liked more the rebel look). Box-office stories or not, Johnny does a very good job each time he acts. Born in Owensboro, Kentucky, Depp made his debut in 1984, in Wes Craven’s production, A Nightmare on Elm Street. Soon after, the dream boy earned famous directors’ attention and so he began his imposing career with movies like:
Edward Scissorhands (1990), Arizona Dream (1993), Ed Wood (1994), Don Juan DeMarco (1995), Sleepy Hollow (1999), From Hell (2001), Once Upon a Time in Mexico (Desperado 2) (2003), Finding Neverland (2004) etc.
Keep the good work Johnny!
